  1. How to make a HD version of Mech Commander 1.8 english

  4. My english is not very well, so, don't be angry with me :-)

  6. Before I start, I want to say something:
  7. Please, if you patch a game with my crack (or the crack of somebody
  8. else) and release it as Harddisk version, you should sign me (or the
  9. person who cracked it) as the cracker. We've done a lot of work at some
  10. games.

  12. Something else:
  13. Stealing cracks or crack patterns is not very nice, I don't want to
  14. name a person, but in the scene there are some phreaks, who think they
  15. can steal and release them as theire own version. I'm very unhappy
  16. about that, please don not steal cracks or something else.

  22. Okay, lets start right now:

  24. 1. Install Mech Commander with max installation
  25. 2. Install Mech Commander Patch to v1.8
  26. 3. You can use the MadCat patch and Map AddOn if you wish
  27. 4. If you want the intro copy all *.smk files from the cd to your
  28.    mech commander directory (\data\movies)
  29. 5. Modify the file <system.cfg> until all path Entrys are correct
  30.    (with max install you schould only have to change the
  31.    "cdmoviepath" entry.)
  32. 6. If you think the game is allready to big you can delete all wave
  33.    files from the data\sound directory, this is just the music.
  34. 7. Copy the crack to your Mech Commander directory and run it.   
  35. 8. I think you won't need the Reg entries... okay I've added it too.
  36.    Maybe YOU need it.
